| The Biostone Filtration System You want two things from an ionizer: clean and healthy water. Proper filtration is crucial to achieving both. All ionizers employ a filter to clean the water; not all filters are created equal. Most filters available in ionizers today are three to five stages and employ only granulated activated charcoal (GAC) and some form of calcium. Emco Tech's revolutionary Biostone Filtration System is the finest all around filter system found in any ionizer today. The system employs 9 stages of filtering media to clean your water and prepare it to make the most of ionization process. The Biostone employs Silver impregnated GAC, calcium, tourmaline (in the form of BioCeramic beads that slightly alter the electrical properties - even before ionization) and a fiber mesh system. The Isis offers a flow control knob providing you better control of the water pressure and pH settings. The flow control also provides for the possibility of alternate installation options. Unlike most other models which can only be installed one way, the Isis can be installed at your sink with a diverter from the tap, or plumbed directly to your cold water line. |
